Preparation
- Trim trees and secure loose outdoor items
- Identify safe interior rooms away from windows
- Charge phones and power banks when warnings issue
- Keep flashlight and battery radio accessible
Emergency Response
- Move indoors and stay away from windows
- Avoid using landline phones or showers during lightning
- Do not shelter under isolated trees outdoors
- After the storm, watch for downed power lines and debris
